Anouk Kruithof ( b. 1981) is a Dutch artist working with the medium of photography. Currently she is artist-in-residence at Künstlerhaus Bethanien, with a grant from BKVB, the Dutch Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture.

Show Me Something is partly composed of work from the project The Black Hole, which Kruithof worked on between 2004 and 2006 in conjunction with Jaap Scheeren. The duo photographed individually and collaboratively around themes of depression, black-outs, the universe and black holes, and interviewed experts in fields as diverse as psychiatry, astronomy and biology. With the project’s book, Scheeren and Kruithof were the first winners of the Unique Photography Prize awarded by HUP Gallery Amsterdam and Kwak & Van Daalen & Ronday. Exhibitions at FOAM (Photography Museum Amsterdam), MAMAC (Museum for modern and contemporary art in Liege), ACP Syndey and Jakarta (Erasmushuis) followed.

Show Me Something is also composed of recent work which Kruithof has made during her stay in Berlin.
