Christian Reister’s series and book “ALEX” will be presented in the renowed Anzenberger Gallery in Vieanna, AT, along with the works of ten photographers whose common thread is working in public space.
The exhibition is a variant of the group show “Fascination Street” which was shown with great success at Kunsthaus Meinblau in Berlin in the autumn of 2011. The show will be running from March 31st to April 13th, 2012. Detail information here.
The neunplus-photographers Mirjam Siefert, Klaus Muenzner and Fred Hüning, donated one photograph each for the auction at Berlinische Galerie.

Christian Reister is part of the the exhibition “Fascination Street” organized by the photographic collective Seconds2Real at MEINBLAU Kunsthaus. The grand public openig will be on Friday, 14th of October, the exhibition runs from October 15th to 30th.
“Fascination Street” shows contemporary street photography focusing on Germany and Austria. Opposed to the traditional strongholds of street photography like Paris, London or New York the attention is drawn to Berlin, Munich or Vienna. The long history of street photography which originates in the 30s with the first point-and-shoot cameras is continued by the Seconds2Real photographers today with a contemporary view on public life.
